Good God. Windows Vista still looks like a train wreck, but this 40-minute demonstration video of MS Office 12 has me as excited as when I first discovered Photoshop, Dreamweaver, or Firefox. Office 12 might be the best Microsoft product ever. And just when Open Ofice was catching up, too… damn. :-)

I actually worked on a PC case today so poorly designed I would have had to remove the entire motherboard to swap a hard drive from the HD bay. If you’d asked me yesterday if it was possible to design a case this way, I’d have said no. Trust me, it can be done, if you’re really smart and really want to piss off your customers. Fuck you, HP.
